Jennifer Cogburn

Jennifer Cogburn, age 42 of Wright City, Okla., went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Jennifer Kathryn Cogburn was born May 8, 1978 in DeQueen, Ark., the daughter of James Thrasher and Jayne (Green) Thrasher. She grew up in the Wright City area and was a 1996 graduate of Wright City High School. After high school, Jennifer obtained her Associates Degree in nursing from EOSC in Wilburton, Okla., and worked as a Registered Nurse.

Jennifer married Chad Cogburn on July 10, 2001 in DeQueen, Ark. She was passionate about her nursing career. Jennifer enjoyed dancing and loved talking with people. She loved her family and going to Gulf Shores, Ala., to visit her special aunt, Kathy and uncle, DeWayne Compton.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers: RC Green and James Thrasher; father and mother-in-law, Linda and Vick Cogburn; uncle, Kevin Lee Green and cousin, Shiloh Compton.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Chad Cogburn; son, Shiloh Cogburn of Wright City; parents, James and Jayne Thrasher of Wright City; sister, Tana Scott and husband, Mario of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandmothers: Mary K. Thrasher and Catherine Green, both of Wright City; brother-in-law, Todd Cogburn of Ringold, Okla.; aunts: Kathy Compton and husband, DeWayne of Cleveland, Ala., Allana Hardaway and husband, Justin of Provo, Utah and Beth Webster and husband, Charlie of Morrisville, Mo.; uncle, R.C. Green, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Wright City; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, along with many loved family and friends.

Arrangements were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
