Koolasha Green

A private family funeral service for Koolasha Green, of Hugo, Okla., will be held at a later date. Koolasha passed away July 21, 2023 in Powderly, Texas, at the age of 18.

Koolasha Green was born on Nov. 13, 2004 in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of Mary Kathryn Cooper and Derwin Wayne Green. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; brother, Kyza ‘Juan Green; a grandfather and an uncle.

Koolasha enjoyed making arts and crafts and spending time with her family and friends. She loved the Grinch and also enjoyed learning to drive. Koolasha was a recent graduate of Hugo High School, Class of 2023 and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Koolasha is survived by her maternal grandparents; paternal grandmother; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo. Services are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
