Kyza ‘Juan Green

A private family funeral service for Kyza ‘Juan Green, of Hugo, Okla., will be held at a later date. Kyza passed away July 21, 2023 in Powderly, Texas, at the age of 16.

Kyza ‘Juan Green was born on Oct. 9, 2006 in Hugo, Okla., the son of Mary Kathryn Cooper and Derwin Wayne Green. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; sister, Koolasha Green; a grandfather and an uncle.

Ky enjoyed tinkering with electronics, gaming and had just begun to learn to drive.

He was a huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan and loved being with his family and friends. Ky’s favorite person in the whole world was his mother. His passing has left a huge void in the lives of his family and friends. Kyza ‘Juan is survived by his maternal grandparents; paternal grandmother; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.
