Funeral services for Margie (Rowan) Cline, of Wright City, Okla., were held Friday, May 29, 2026 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home.

Margaret “Margie” (Rowan) Cline, 92, passed away at her home in Wright City, Okla., on May 26, 2026. She was born on March 13, 1934 in Okemah, Okla., the daughter of Charley Elmer Rowan and Elfleda Maude (Hunter) Rowan. Margie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Cline; seven sisters: Mabel Fegett, Emma Evans, Vera Strayhorn, Myrtle Neal, Charlesy Cheatham, Mary Rowan and Cissy Vance; two brothers: Elmer Rowan and Ebin (ED) Rowan.

Margie married Bill Cline on Feb. 19, 1953, and they spent 45 years together until his passing in 1998. She was an accomplished guitar player and enjoyed playing and singing gospel music in church, and for many years, played local venues with some of her fellow musicians and friends. Margie was of the Baptist faith, loved the Lord, and looked forward to entering her heavenly home. Margie is survived by two sons: Keith Cline of Wright City and Jimmy Cline of Garvin, Okla.; one daughter, Kathy Altenbaumer of Felker Community; a special nephew; two special nieces; a special caregiver, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Interment followed the service at Slater Cemetery with Bro. Aaron Strange officiating the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
