Mary Delana Amend

Funeral services for Mary Delana Amend, of Soper, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 19, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Mary passed away Jan. 17, 2021, at the age of 80.

Mary Delana Amend was born on Aug. 26, 1940 in Soper, Okla., to Floyd and Sarah (Marshall) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Alfred Paul Amend, Jr. and sister, JoNell Vaughan.

Mary D. is survived by Al Amend; her son, Todd Amend and wife, Carla of Soper; daughter, Britt Adams of Soper; brother, Jarvis F. Smith and wife, Gayla of Caddo, Okla.; grandchildren: Sarah Stone, Elizabeth Merker and husband, DJ, Lucas Adams and wife, Katie and Payton Amend; great-grandchildren: Jacob, Karter, Karlee, Braelyn, Ryan and Remi, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Soper Cemetery with Pastor Keith Maloy officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
