Misty Dawne Saldivar

Misty Dawne Saldivar was born on Sept. 19, 1981 and passed away on Aug. 15, 2026, at the young of age 44, leaving behind a bright trail of love and cherished memories that will live on forever.

Misty brought endless laughter, fierce passion, and a radiant spirit to everyone she met. Her smile would light up the room. She loved hunting, fishing on Pine Creek, and spending time with her family and friends. Misty always enjoyed helping others and poured her whole heart into everything she did. Her good heart knew no limits. If you knew Misty, you knew how hard of a worker she was. There wasn’t anything she could not do. Misty was a Jack-of-all trades, from cooking, cleaning, welding, and ranching. You name it she could do it. Misty was a woman of endless talent. She was always the first to offer a helping hand. Misty never backed down from a spontaneous adventure or a good argument. Dad would always say “she will argue with a fence post if she wanted too.”

Misty is survived by her wonderful children: daughter, Demarie Saldivar and son, Daerson Saldivar of Rufe, Okla.; her loving parents, Michael and Debbie Cunningham of Rufe; her brother, Jeremie Cunningham and sister-in-law of Locust Grove, Okla.; nephew and niece; and her very best friend; countless cousins, extended family, and friends who became her chosen family.
