Nora Ann (Clark) Erwin, of Sawyer, Okla., passed away Oct. 6, 2023, at the age of 71.

Nora Ann (Clark) Erwin was born Aug. 23, 1952 in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of Walter Henderson Clark and Virginia Dorothy (Meyer) Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joe Ray Erwin; daughter, Anita Ann Clark; brothers: Richard Clark, Argle Clark, Eugene Clark, Oliver Clark, Leonard Clark, Mark Clark, Riley Clark and Otis Clark; sisters: LaVern Hensley, June Clark, Mary Clark and Ester Rich; Nora lived in Choctaw County her whole life and attended Hugo High School. She worked at the Valliant Nursing Home and was a caring home health provider. She also worked at the meat processing plant north of Swink, Okla. Nora was a very strong-willed person. She loved red birds and enjoyed crocheting. She also enjoyed fishing, especially at Lake Keota. But, most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Nora will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Nora is survived by her daughters: Angela Mitchell of Sawyer, Kristi Parman Campos of Texas; son, Benny D.K. Mitchell, Jr. of Guthrie, Okla.; brothers: Stanley Clark of Speer, Okla., and John Clark of Nashoba, Okla.; sisters: Opal Lane Clark of Speer, Okla., Linna Bell of Antlers, Okla., Linda Saffell of Antlers, and Sharron Mc Clain of Antlers; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family, friends and loved one.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
