Richard Lee Johnson, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on Aug. 2, 2020 in Tucson, Ariz., at the age of 53 years old.

Richard was born to Benjamin Johnson, Jr. and Shirley (Raney) Routon on Nov. 15, 1966 in Hugo, Okla. Richard enjoyed being with his family. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time helping his mom with cattle. Richard will always be known for having the biggest heart and giving the tightest hugs. He never met a stranger and loved talking to anyone and everyone. One of his greatest past-times was owning his own tree service.

Richard is survived by his son, Hunter Lee Goins; parents, Shirley (Raney) Routon of Hugo, Okla., and Benjamin Johnson, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters: Marsha Wisener and husband, Mike of Antlers, Okla., Leslie Lawler and husband, Eddie of Hugo, Okla.; brother, Benny Johnson III of New Braunfels, Texas; nieces: Krissy Summerville, Niki Foster, Courtney Bush and Regan Maberry; nephews: Jace Johnson, Michael Collum, Aaron Wisener and William Wisener. Richard is also survived by his greatnieces and nephews who always enjoyed their “Uncle Richard.”

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his grandparents: Bill and Bermadine Raney, Shirley Cummings; nephew, Mark Alan Collum.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jace Johnson, Michael Collum, Aaron Wisener, and William Wisener. Services are pending at this time, under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
