Ronald L. Drinnon, age 71, of Fort Towson, Okla., passed away on July 5, 2026. He was born on Jan. 15, 1955 in Fort Towson, and lived a life marked by hard work, faith, and a genuine love for the people and places that shaped him.

Ronald was a dedicated rancher whose life was built around the values of responsibility, perseverance, and care for the land and livestock entrusted to him. He took pride in honest work and was known for being handy in any situation, adventurous in spirit, and friendly to all who knew him. Whether he was running cattle, spending time outdoors, or lending a helping hand, Ronald approached life with a steady presence and a practical wisdom that earned the respect of others.

He found his faith and was baptized in his final days. Ronald found joy in simple pleasures and treasured the time he spent hunting, fishing, running cattle, eating, and telling stories. He had a gift for conversation and a way of making those around him feel welcome. His stories, sense of humor, and easygoing nature created lasting memories for family and friends alike.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Drinnon and Georgia Thornburgh. He is survived by his sister, Marlene Foreman; his children: Chris Hammons, Bret Hammons, Johonna House and Christopher Moore; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, as well as one niece and one nephew, along with many others who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2026 at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
