Ronald Ray Ainsworth, of Hugo, Okla., passed away July 14, 2026, at the age of 79. Ronald was born on Jan. 10, 1947 in Boswell, Okla., the son of Clarence Ainsworth and Fern (Whisenhunt) Ainsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Ainsworth; brothers: Willard Ainsworth, Billy Ainsworth, Jimmy Ainsworth and Jerry Ainsworth and sisters: Marie Cox, Wanda Winfield and Ruth Ainsworth.

Ronald had lived in the Hugo community for more than 50 years. He was a talented carpenter who made a fulfilling career out of his passion for working with his hands and he took great pride in his work. Ronald enjoyed spending his time raising and caring for his chickens. He loved playing dominoes and visiting with his family and friends. Most of all he loved his children and grandchildren and spending time with them. Ronald is survived by his sons: Jody Ainsworth of Hugo and Cavin Ainsworth of Fort Towson, Okla.; daughter, Carla Ainsworth of Melissa, Texas; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
