Funeral services for Rosemary Boggs, of Fort Towson, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020 at Spencerville Church in Spencerville, Okla. Rosemary passed away Nov. 15, 2020, at the age of 85.
Rosemary Boggs was born Oct. 12, 1935 in Talco, Texas, to Nolan Warren and Zela Aline (Pittman) Neugent. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Carlos Neugent and Rodger Neugent; sister, Dorothy Stevens; daughter, Carol Horton; daughter-in-law, Karen Boyd and step-daughter, Kimberly Boggs. Rosemary retired as a telephone operator for General Electric. She and her husband, William settled in the Spencerville area in 1993. Rosemary enjoyed fishing, gardening and canning the vegetables from her garden. She loved her family and especially enjoyed the Thanksgiving holidays spent with them. Rosemary also enjoyed crossword puzzles and listening to music. She will be greatly missed this Thanksgiving and everyday afterwards.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, William; sons: Bill Boyd and Paula of Rockport, Texas, Jack Boyd of Hobbs, N.M.; daughter, Sheryl Owen and companion, Gary Dean Erwin of Spencerville; son-in-law, Paul Horton of Duncanville, Texas; step-children: Kelly Campbell of Texas, Rick Boggs and wife, Olivia of Florida, Robby Boggs and Rusty Boggs of Texas; brother, Tommy Neugent of Hurst, Texas; sisters: Martha Stolfer of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Linda Blackwood of Ardmore, Okla.; 11n grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren, along with a host of other family, loved ones and friends.
Bro. Kenny Cogburn will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
