Funeral services for Ruth Ann Baldwin, of Hugo, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Hugo with Pastor Danny Mills and Doug McClure officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Ruth Ann Baldwin was born April 13, 1933 in Atoka, the daughter of Horace Marshall Cook and Madeline Ann (Rosso) Cook. She married William “Bill” Baldwin on Nov. 9, 1951 in Ft. Smith, Ark. Together they moved to Hugo in 1959 and opened Baldwin’s Office Supply in downtown Hugo. They continued to operate the store until Bill passed away in 2005. In her later years Ruth moved to be near her daughter in Texas.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Donna Holcombe and husband, David of Eddy, Texas; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Betty Cox Baldwin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; her two sons: Marty and Jimmy, and brother, Junior Cook.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025 in the Prater- Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
