Funeral services for Scotty Bacon were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 29, 2020 at Boswell Church of God in Boswell, Okla. Scotty passed away Sept. 25, 2020, at the age of 54.

Scotty Ray Bacon was born on Sept. 7, 1966 in Talihina, Okla., to Jimmy Ray and Mary Jane (Roberts) Bacon. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, D’Esta Kay Hull.

Scotty married Elizabeth Baker on July 9, 2005 in Boswell. Scotty worked as a tire tech in Boswell and was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. He loved his family beyond measure and they enjoyed spending time together camping. Scotty loved music, but his greatest love was his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Scotty is survived by his wife of 15 years, Elizabeth; sons: Nicholas Bacon of Moore, Okla., Colby Bacon and wife of Bokchito, Okla., Bobby Larkins, Jr. and wife of Boswell and Bryan Larkins of Boswell; daughters: Bridgette Farrell and husband of Kenefic, Okla., and Brandi Larkins of Boswell; brother, John Bacon and wife of Boswell; sister, Evangeline Cubit and husband of Wright City, Okla.; 17 grandchildren and numerous other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Pigeon Roost Cemetery in Boswell with the Rev. Virginia Espinoza officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
