Sharon Gail (Wickson) Deal

Funeral services for Sharon Gail (Wickson) Deal, of Savanna, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Sharon passed away May 20, 2023, at the age of 49.

Sharon Gail (Wickson) Gail was born on May 10, 1974 in Talihina, Okla., the daughter of David “Dave” Wickson, Jr. and Shirley (Noah) Wickson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Wickson; sister, Veanna Wickson; a grandson.

Sharon grew up and had lived most of her life in the Hugo area. She had a true servant’s heart and worked as a CNA for many years at the Baptist Village Nursing Home of Hugo and Lane Frost Health and Rehabilitation Center. In her spare time, she loved to cook, work on her puzzle books and especially, spend time with her family. Sharon was a loving mother, sister and friend; she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Sharon is survived by her son, Kyle Dewayne Martin of Savanna, Okla.; daughter, Kara Renee Jones and husband of Savanna; significant other, Cecil Hare; sisters: Jackie Wickson of McAlester, Okla., Rhonda Wickson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rachel Battiest and husband of McAlester; along with a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday May 24, 2023 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.

Interment will follow the service at Springs Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
