Tonia Kathleen Bosserman, known affectionately as Tonia, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, in Durant, Okla. Born on Jan. 19, 1965 in DeQueen, Ark., Tonia was a beacon of love and a source of boundless fun to all who knew her.

Tonia lived a joyful life as a devoted homemaker, always ensuring that her home was a haven of warmth and happiness. Her daughters, Ashley Bosserman of Valliant, Okla., Tera Bosserman of Hugo, Okla., and Angela Bosserman and husband, Jon of Muskogee, Okla., were the epicenter of her world. She poured her love and energy into nurturing them, and the bond they shared was truly special.

With a zest for life that was contagious, Tonia’s loving and friendly nature drew people towards her. She was an adventurer at heart and found great pleasure in exploring new places, relishing her travels, and embracing the thrill of discovery. Among her favorite pursuits were going to the lake and seeking out new and exciting experiences. Tonia lived her life with a spirit of adventure, and she always embraced the opportunity to have a good time. Above all, her love for her daughters and grandchildren knew no bounds –– they were her greatest joy and pride.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025 in the Prater- Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel. Services of Remembrance will begin following at 2 p.m. Tonia’s legacy will live on in the countless cherished memories she created and the hearts of those she touched with her adventurous and friendly spirit.
