Traci Lea Byrd was born to Barbara and Geary Byrd on April 27, 1972 in Hugo, Okla. She graduated from Hugo High School in 1990 and went on to study business at the Trinity University in San Antonio.

She also studied abroad for a semester at Syvilla, Spain. She was fluent in Spanish and used it throughout her lifetime. She was the granddaughter of the late D.R. and Isla Miller, who were owners of the second largest traveling circus in the world. Traci was the fourth-generation circus owner. She loved the circus life, and she performed in the performances all over the United States. She performed many different acts including the Spanish web, rode elephants and horses, loop to loop, the flying trapeze, perch pole, cradle and swinging ladder. She had many office duties, including immigration documents, and she also sold tickets. She was the novelty and concessions manager for years.

While she was married to Julio Cavallini, they had two children: Brandon Lee Cavallini and Cameron Marie Cavallini. Her kids were her everything. She was so proud of them and so blessed to be their mom. Traci was well-known throughout the community of Hugo and was loved by all who knew her.

Traci tragically died on Oct. 28, 2025. She is loved and will be missed by so many people. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, D.R. and Isla Miller; her paternal grandparents, Lloyd Byrd and Vallene and Jim Yarmuk; and her father, Geary Lee Byrd.

Traci is survived by her two children: Brandon Cavallini and Cameron Cavallini; by her mother, Barbara Byrd; her sister, Kristin Parra (and brother-in-law, Gustavo Parra); her three nephews: Bryce Parra, Peyton Parra and Blake Parra and several loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
