Memorial services for Brenda Alene (Trapp) Vanderburg, of Valliant, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Valliant. Brenda passed away Feb. 24, 2024, at the age of 60.

Brenda Alene (Trapp) Vanderburg was born on June 25, 1963 in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of Herman Trapp and Dorothy (Wheeler) Trapp. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman; and brother, Michael Trapp.

Brenda was a lifelong resident of Fort Towson, Okla., and worked as a log crane operator for many years. However, Brenda’s full time job was caring for her family and it was her greatest joy in life. She would do anything for her family and was always calling to check on how everyone was doing, sometimes several times a day. In Brenda’s spare time, she loved going to garage sales and auctions. She was always on the hunt for a good bargain and to find things she could decorate with. Brenda was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Brenda is survived by her mother, Dorothy Trapp of Fort Towson; husband, Dewayne Bilby of Valliant; sons: Terry Trapp and wife of Paris, Texas, Taylor Barnes and wife of Sawyer, Okla., and Tanner Trapp and wife of Chicota, Texas; 12 grandchildren; brothers: Randy Trapp and wife of Davis, Okla., Ronnie Trapp and wife of Fort Towson and Bobby Trapp and wife of Arthur City, Okla.; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.

Services are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
