Buffaloes kick off season Friday

The Hugo Buffaloes’ season opener against the Dickson Comets will start later than usual due to the excessive heat southeastern Oklahoma is experiencing.

Originally scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff, Friday’s game will kick at 8 p.m. in an attempt to play in slightly cooler temperatures. Hugo head coach Krystopher Gross announced on Monday that Hugo and Dickson schools agreed to the time change.
