Buffs get season off to 3-2 start

HUGO — The Hugo Buffaloes opened their 2025 baseball season with a strong 3-0 start, posting wins over Atoka and a pair of Ws over Tishomingo.

Maliki Gillean, Charlie Ward and Jayka Santillan were tied for batting honors through the first five games all with a respectable .333 batting average.
