Lady Red Bears fall to Kiowa

Soper’s Lady Red Bears’ wonderful season came to an abrupt end in the OSSAA Class B State Quarterfinals at Devon Park in Oklahoma City Thursday. Nerves were apparent “on the big stage.” Once the momentum shifted, they couldn’t comeback and lost to Kiowa, 12-8. Soper will have to regroup, learn from this, and hope for another state playoff run in Slow Pitch in the spring.
