Jimmie Thomas Gordon, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sept. 11, 2020 in Clarksville, Texas, after two years of declining health. Jimmie received care from his wife, daughter, and the gracious staff of Clarksville Nursing Center.

Pamela (Pam) Elaine Goree, 66, of Boswell, Okla., passed away on Friday, Sept. 4, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Pam was born on May 21, 1954 in Pampa, Texas, to Alfred Nelson Green, Jr. and Mavis Ellen (Whisenhunt) Green. She started cooking at the age of 14 out in Texas at a restaurant. She continued to cook at places and even owned her own restaurant. Pamela loved drag racing with her husband and taking care of her family and friends.

A fairly quiet week of weather is shaping up for eastern Oklahoma with only a 30 to 40% chance of a thunderstorm Wednesday and Thursday, but otherwise partly cloudy. High temperatures in the mid-80s and the nights will be clear with temperatures dropping into the mid-60s. Right now next weekend is looking great with sunshine and 80 degrees, let’s hope that forecast holds.
