A much better weather pattern starts for Choctaw County on Wednesday as the winter storms that have been affecting the state of Oklahoma move out and a big warming trend is coming our way for the remainder of the week. We will be in the 50s by Thursday and above 60 degrees by Sunday and Monday. The storm on Sunday brought five inches to Tulsa and that was their heaviest snow in seven years.

THE ANNUAL HUGO Chamber Christmas Parade of Lights was held Saturday, with a record number of entries. Folks came from the tri-state area to either join in or spectate as approximately 68 entries lit up Jackson St. Parade Marshall Leah Savage led the followers as Santa’s helper, Darren Frazier donned Saint Nick’s costume to finish off the line-up.
