Boys & Girls Club offers summer feeding program

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Red River Valley, Okla., will be participating in the 2026 Summer Feeding Program (SFSP). Each site listed will offer a healthy, nutritious breakfast and lunch to any school-aged child in our community. Each site will serve meals Monday through Friday, with breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 12 to 1 p.m.

Stickball events coming up

The Choctaw Cultural Center is calling for all stickball players to prepare for three upcoming events. One training and two tournaments are scheduled.

AgricultHER conference returns June 5

Choctaw, Push Co. bucket calf program now accepting youth participants

The Choctaw and Pushmataha County OSU Extension Agriculture is excited to offer the Choctaw and Pushmataha County Bucket Calf Program again this year for young livestock enthusiasts. This educational program is designed to introduce youth to the cattle industry through hands-on learning and responsibility.

The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence honored 100 Oklahoma public school seniors as members of its 2026 Academic All-State class. The Academic All-State class was recognized at OFE’s Academic Awards Celebration on May 2 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
