THE HUGO JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION held recently was a big success. Members of the Juneteenth Committee (pictured above right) honored local Oklahoma City bombing survivor Sharon Littlejohn (right) with a plaque that recognized her strength, endurance and faith in the midst of a time of great turmoil.

It is time for one of my favorite holidays of the year. How can you beat baked beans, hot dogs and a cold drink followed by beautiful fireworks!
