Oklahoma expands commercial air travel

OKLAHOMA CITY – Legislation aimed at increasing the number of direct flights to Oklahoma has now been signed into law. Senate Bill 1461, by Sen. Paul Rosino, R-Oklahoma City, creates the Oklahoma Air Service Development Grant Program (OAS-DGP), which will be administered by the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission (OAC).

Fort Towson students enjoy youth camp

The sixth grade class from Fort Towson enjoyed getting to spend a week at Camp Goddard. Camp Goddard Youth Camp includes cabins, meeting spaces and a large dining hall. Five maintained nature trails take students through a range of different environments. Camp Goddard youth camp is a special place with programs that have been teaching Fort Towson students to understand and appreciate the natural world for approximately 20 years.

Fort Towson High School announces the Senior Class of 2022 Honor Graduates: Samuel Seimer and Karli Rushin. These two distinguished students, along with the rest of the graduation class, will receive their diplomas during the 2022 commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday, May 13 at the Fort Towson gym.

Tag office closure temporary

After a sign on the door of the Hugo Tag Office announced its permanent closure, the Oklahoma Tax Commission responded Monday with answers regarding this announcement. “This Motor Licensed Agent retired effective May 6, 2022. The OTC was notified of this retirement by the former Motor Licensed Agent on April 28, 2022. The OTC is currently accepting applications for individuals interested in being appointed as Motor Licensed Agents to serve the residents of Choctaw County. Interested individuals may email MLAinfo@tax.ok.gov to request an application packet.”
