Hugo School board hears end-of-year reports

HUGO — The Hugo Board of Education met Monday in its regular meeting for May and the location for the meeting was the new Middle School cafeteria. The bright and expansive room was refreshing and it provided a cavernous space for the school staff and a significant number of area citizen attendees.
Ambulance Authority, others awarded $30,000

The Choctaw County Ambulance Authority announces it has received a $30,000 Rural Oklahoma Community Grant from the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
Hugo Academic Team brings home trophies, medals at State competition

HHS Student On Friday, May 3, students from Hugo High School competed at Rose State College in the state-wide High School Tournament of Champions. Hugo brought home 17 Top 10 awards, including 12 medals and five trophies.
