Registration is open now for the 43rd annual Oklahoma Waterfowl Stamp Design Competition. The winning artwork will become the design for the 2025-26 Oklahoma Waterfowl Stamp, which is sold to state waterfowl hunters and stamp collectors nationwide. The winning artist will receive a $1,200 purchase prize.

The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) is announcing the renewal period for current registered cattle and horse brands in Oklahoma will begin on Oct. 1. Beginning Oct. 1, current registered brand holders can renew online by going to www.okcattlemen. org/brands. If a registered brand holder would prefer to renew by mail, a renewal notice will be sent to those that do not renew online. Once the brand renewal is received, registered brand holders can renew by going to the OCA website or returning the renewal documentation via mail with the $60 fee.

HOCHATOWN –– Head to Choctaw Landing this month to enjoy free live music at Cypress Lawn! The amphitheater on Cypress Lawn is the perfect spot for family fun, just steps away from a small playground, two food containers and a self-serve beer wall. All performances will be held from 8:30-11:30 p.m.
