If it hadn’t been for the second quarter, the Lady Buffaloes may have left Silo with a win Friday night. Hugo came out strong against the Rebels, putting up 13 points in the first quarter and hitting two three-pointers that helped them take a four-point lead.

OU’s Gasso to lead U.S. Olympic Softball team!

Oklahoma head coach Patty Gasso will coach the USA women’s softball team in the 2028 Olympic games, the University announced Monday. The Olympics will be held in Los Angeles, but the softball events will be in Oklahoma City at Devon Park, which hosts the NCAA Women’s College World Series.

Beginner knitting classes offered at Fort Towson Historic Site

FORT TOWSON — The Fort Towson Historic Site will host a two-part beginner knitting class on Saturday, Feb. 15 and 22 from 9 a.m. to noon. The classes will focus on the foundational skills of casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch and casting off. Registration is required for this free class.
