Hugo Schools served with notice of $20 million lawsuit

Staff Hugo City School officials have received formal notice that parents of two middle school students have filed a notice of tort claim against the district for alleged abuse of their children while at school. The letter states that the parents will be seeking $20 million dollars for actual and punitive damages for abuse they received while in the school’s care.

Yazzie pleads guilty to sexual exploitation of a child

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Dylan Hansen Yazzie, age 28, of Broken Bow, Okla., entered a guilty plea to one count of sexual exploitation of a child/use of a child to produce a visual depiction.
