Red River Leadership Institute is hosting a free two-day intensive leadership development program June 24-25 at the Paris Conference and Event Center by Hilton, 3143 NE Loop 286 in Paris. Registration will begin at 8 a.m., with the training from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Included will be a training manual, lunch both days and materials. This training will assist in building community in the workplace, helping people through change, fostering a high-performance culture and service excellence through the team concept. Acie Leon Shehan passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025 at his home in Fort Towson, Okla. Born to A.C. Shehan and Mary Taylor on Dec. 29, 1932 in Grant, Okla. Acie’s life was one marked by devotion and service –– an honorable veteran of the U.S. Army, he later parlayed his discipline and meticulous nature into a successful career as a computer programmer at Otis Energy, from which he retired after many dedicated years. His educational journey saw him graduate from high school, complete two years of college, and continuously seek out new knowledge and experiences.
