Annie Fayrene “Dolly” Davis-Tate

Funeral services for Annie Fayrene “Dolly” Davis-Tate, of Valliant, Okla., were held June 11, 2025 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.

Annie Fayrene “Dolly” Wall Davis Tate passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025 at the age of 90, surrounded by the love of her devoted family.

Dolly was born April 26, 1935 in Spencerville, Okla., to Otha and Willie Mae Wall. She married Howard Wynn Davis, with whom she had three children: Dian Davis Johnson, Susan Davis Feller and Howard Wynn Davis, Jr. After her first husband’s passing, she again found lasting love with Billy Earl Tate, her devoted husband of 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Earl Tate; daughters: Dian Davis Johnson and Susan Davis Feller; two grandchildren; brothers: Buddy Wall and Billy Wall; her dear son-in-law; and a wide circle of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Wynn Davis; her son, Howard Wynn Davis, Jr.; her parents: Otha and Willie Mae Wall; and her brother, Tommy Wall.

Officiating the service was Brant Allen, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
