Hugo Public Schools receive Casey’s grant to resurface HHS tennis courts

Hugo Public Schools is a 2026 Casey’s Cash for Classrooms grant recipient. The school will receive $27,500 to resurface the HHS tennis courts. This project will help Hugo High School to create a safe, functional and durable playing surface that supports physical and educational programs as well as extracurricular activities by making lifelong habits of fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship possible.

With his first significant grant from the National Institutes of Health, an Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation scientist will investigate how bone marrow forms inside the skull. His findings ultimately could lead to improved treatment options for brain injuries and diseases.
