Annual Juneteenth celebration to be held Saturday in Hugo

The annual Juneteenth celebration, “We are the Foundation,” will begin Saturday, June 17 with a parade at 6 p.m. Line-up at 5 p.m. at the football stadium. There will be games, food, music, bounce houses, prizes and fireworks at Cora Lee Roe Park. The ceremony will include a prayer by Bro. Shon Gage, National Anthem by Bessi Black and the National Negro Anthem by Jahlani Reed/sax.
