Becky Lynn Goza

Becky Lynn Goza, of Hugo, Okla., passed away May 8, 2023, at the age of 62.

Becky Lynn (James) Goza was born on July 13, 1960, in Talihina, Okla., the daughter of Wilson and Willie James. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Burton; a grandson; brothers: Johnny James and Charles James.

Becky was a lifelong resident of the Hugo area and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She held numerous positions within the Choctaw Nation for most of her career. Becky loved being Gran to her grandkids and enjoyed spoiling her puppy, Moxxie. She also loved going to the casino with her husband Roger, playing games and eating at the various restaurants. Becky will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Becky is survived by her husband, Roger Goza; son, Kristopher Burton and wife of Fort Towson, Okla.; five grandchildren; sister, Christine Chappel of Hugo, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, friends and loved ones. A viewing was held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 2830 Oak Creek Drive in Paris, Texas.
