Joe Bryon Jones

Funeral services for Joe Bryon Jones, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 13, 2023 at Boswell Gymnasium.

Joe passed away Sept. 9, 2023, at the age of 51.

Joe Bryon Jones was born Jan. 31, 1972 in Hugo, Okla., the son of David Jones and Sue Johnson Jones.

Joe Bryon was a lifelong resident of Boswell, Okla. He loved the ranch life, working cattle and horses, but his passion was fighting bulls. Joe Bryon was one of the toughest men ever known. He had a huge heart and if he loved you, you knew it. Joe Bryon loved to hunt and fish, but he especially loved to team rope. He was an IFYR Champion and the UPRA Bull Fighter of the Year. His passing has left a huge void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his spouse, Jesy; parents, David and Sue Jones; son, Luke Jones; daughter, Hannah Arnold; brother, Robert “Robbie” Jones and wife; aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews, along with a host of cousins, friends, family and loved ones.

Bro. Wade Snow and Bro. Dan James officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
