Norma Caroline Booth

Funeral services for Norma Caroline Booth, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo. Norma passed away Aug. 23, 2023, at the age of 85.

Norma Caroline McKee Booth was born on Jan. 11, 1938 in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of Benjamin McKee and Norma Ball McKee. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Jackie Booth and Alan Booth; an exhusband; brothers: Andrew McKee, John McKee and Junior McKee; sisters: Viola Boyd and Mary Walls.

Caroline was a part of the Hugo community all her life. She worked as a home health nurse and nurse’s aide. She also volunteered as a cook for the Choctaw Senior Citizens. Caroline and Bill were married on Aug. 12, 1952 in Mena, Ark. She enjoyed old movies, cookouts at the lake and riding around. Caroline loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren, which gave her much joy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Caroline is survived by her daughters: Pamela Stanley and husband of Moyers, Okla., and Ginger Booth and husband of Hugo; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four greatgreat- grandchildren; four special friends, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Springs Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
