Although his one goal in life was to be a parole officer, he was an accomplished man in many areas, such as attending OBU and Northeastern State University before earning his Associate’s Degree from Carl Albert State College and Bachelors in Psychology from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Pete served as chaplain for Heartland Hospice, as well as at nursing homes in Choctaw, Pushmataha and McCurtain counties. He had a passion for helping, and succeeding in making a difference in the lives of many children with speech issues. In his spare time, Pete visited more than 40 states in his life.
