Susan Kay Rosson

Funeral services for Susan Kay Rosson, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. May 7, 2024 at Miller & Miller Funeral Chapel. Susan passed away May 3, 204, at the age of 66.

Susan Kay Rosson was born on Oct. 24, 1957 in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of Pete Bates and Geneva (Hider) Bates Fuller. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Lynn Bates.

Susan was a lifelong resident of Hugo and was a housing inspector at Choctaw Housing Authority for 25 years. She truly enjoyed her job and loved her work family. Susan married her loving husband, David Rosson, on April 18, 2011, in Las Vegas. She enjoyed yard work and always kept her house in order. Susan loved going shopping with her sister, Tammy and being at family gatherings. Most of all Susan loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, David Rosson of Hugo; sons: DeWayne Fuller and wife of Hugo and Jason Clark and wife of Grant, Okla.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a special nephew and family; and sister, Tammy Payne and husband, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Springs Chapel Cemetery with Sis. Joyce Luman officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
