The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that John Thomas Worthy, age 51, of Hugo, Okla., was sentenced to one year of probation for one count of possession of a machine gun.

HUGO –– A teacher at Hugo Public School has been placed on administrative leave after alleged allegations of misconduct with a student. According to local law enforcement, the case has been sent to the FBI for further investigation.
