Clayton resident sentenced to 20 years for federal drug, firearms crimes

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Troy Michael Goforth, age 49, of Clayton, Okla., was sentenced to 180 months for one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and 60 months on one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The terms will be served consecutively.

Buffaloes beat Tish (8-5) and Okmulgee (11-7)

TISHOMINGO — The Hugo Buffaloes put two more Ws on their season schedule last week with wins over Tishomingo and Okmulgee. Against the Indians in Tishomingo, Trystunn Fleeks got the win for Hugo on the hill, throwing three innings with two strike-outs and two base on balls.
