It’s that time again! The annual Choctaw County Free Fair is scheduled for next week. Following is a schedule of events: Tuesday, Sept.

CHOCTAW COUNTY –– A Rufe, Okla., man was arrested on two counts of arson last week, after law enforcement responded to a residence in Rufe, where two mobile homes were burned to the ground. According to Choctaw County Sheriff Deputy Dustin Gibbs, he was dispatched to a structure fire last Tuesday in which the fire department had requested sheriff’s assistance due to the resident having a violent past history.

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY –– A 14-yearold Clayton, Okla., girl passed away as a result of an ATV crash Aug. 22 in Clayton.

HUGO –– Officers with the Hugo Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located at 1502 W. Dalton St.
