Jury returns guilty verdict in Pierce murder trial

A jury found Jeffrey Lyn Pierce guilty of murder in the second degree in Indian Country last week, after a sixday criminal jury trial.

Pierce was arrested on suspicion of murder and was accused of killing his wife, 48-year-old Ronnie Ranea Fitzpatrick-Pierce, according to OSBI. OSBI was asked to assist the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department with the May 7, 2020 murder investigation.
