They must present the Hugo News a copy of the birth certificate, the exact time of the baby’s birth specified by the attending physician and proof of residency (such as a utility bill or voter’s registration card).

Town of Soper receives million dollar grant from OWRB

OKLAHOMA CITY ––The town of Soper received approval for $1,000,000 in funding Tuesday from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) to improve the Town’s wastewater infrastructure. Construction of upgrades and improvements to the wastewater system will be financed by the Oklahoma American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program.
Hugo Kiamichi Technology Center employee Lauren Wren received the 2023 PACE Outstanding Training Activity award for the Electrical Lineman Training Program during the Association of Career and Technical Education’s annual VISION conference in Phoenix, Ariz. Wren is the Workforce & Economic Development Coordinator at Kiamichi Tech – Hugo.
