Fort Towson man dies in shootout with OHP Trooper

FORT TOWSON –– The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has confirmed that a Fort Towson man was fatally injured early Saturday outside Tommy’s Bar and Grill on the west edge of Fort Towson. According to their report out of Oklahoma City, an OHP Trooper and a Choctaw County Deputy Sheriff responded to a call from the bar’s staff, requesting assistance with a patron who had been expelled from the bar and had been trying to get back in.
