A tribute concert and 80th birthday celebration for Dr. Ed Ellis will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Antlers High School auditorium. Admission is free. Ragtime pianist Adam Swanson will perform at 1, followed by the birthday celebration reception. Everyone is invited.

The Choctaw County Junior Livestock Show was held last week at the Agriplex. Local students displayed lots of work as they walked the ring proudly showing their livestock or exhibited their skills in the Ag Mechanics.
