Thursday is looking like the best day of the week with sunshine and 85 degrees, but then a cold front is going to bring a chance of a thunderstorm on Friday. High temperatures will only be in the low 60s on Saturday and by Monday, we may get stuck in the low 50s in the afternoon.

The Iris Garden Club of Hugo met on Sept. 28 to open their new year, after being adjourned for the summer. The group convened in the “Party Barn” at the home of Jerry and Harolynn Wofford. The tables were decorated with fall tablecloths, pumpkins and fall colors for the dinner.
