Nancy Brandon, of Fort Towson, Okla., was born Feb. 15, 1943 and passed away peacefully from this world on Jan. 5, 2025, at the age of 81. Nancy leaves behind the great love of her life, her husband, Jimmy Brandon, whom she married on Aug. 7, 1961. Together, they embarked on a life filled with mutual respect and unwavering support, a partnership that lasted 63 years.

She was a devoted mother to her three sons: Dwayne, Danny and Larry. Her nurturing spirit extended to her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her lessons of love and compassion. Nancy’s life was marked by her thoughtful and selfless nature. She dedicated herself to creating a warm and welcoming home, a sanctuary for all who entered. Her life was not defined by a career in the traditional sense, but rather by the work she did within the walls of her home and the community, as she was an active member of all activities at the First Baptist Church of Fort Towson, Okla. We bid farewell to Nancy Brandon, a woman who lived her life as a shining example of the best of us. She has left an incredible mark on the hearts of her family and friends, and her memory will serve as a guiding light for generations to come.
