Harlyn Ruth Redwine

Our beloved sister, Harlyn Ruth Redwine Williams went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 18, 2026, age 68 in Dublin, Ohio. She was born Sept. 27, 1957 in Altus, Okla. Our family moved to Hugo, Okla., where Harlyn graduated from high school with the Class of 1975.

Harlyn lived in Dublin, Ohio, with her partner, Greg Brown, for 22 years. Their admirable, loving relationship lasted 32 years, and Greg devoted his life to caring for her.

Harlyn loved her Choctaw Heritage, and was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. Her honesty and integrity were greatly admired. She was known as a gentle soul; unassuming, inviting, and easy-going. She had a huge passion and love for her family, friends, daughter, grandson, and sisters. She loved her cats and dogs, and enjoyed keeping up with old friends and classmates. Harlyn is preceded in death by her parents: father, Harrell Williams and mother, Margaret Williams. Harlyn is survived by her partner; her five sisters: Patricia Royston, Cynthia Berger, Julia Holt, Vickie Williams, Tammie Williams; her daughter, Alex Conforto and husband; her grandson, along with many more nieces and nephews. Harlyn was laid to rest beside her father on Sept. 12, 2026 in Springs Chapel Cemetery, Hugo, Okla., Choctaw County.
