Funeral services for Dawson Tannerhee Bostic, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 at Christian Life Outreach Ministry. Dawson passed away Feb. 3, 2025, at the age of 21.

Dawson Tanner Lee Bostic was born on March 4, 2003 in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Roy Lee Hall and Donnalisa Bostic. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chandler Bostic; a grandmother and two grandfathers.

Dawson was a lifelong resident of Hugo and a graduate of Hugo High School. He enjoyed singing and was a member of the Hugo Show Choir and also enjoyed playing basketball. Dawson loved his family beyond measure, and nothing made him happier than brightening other people’s day. He has left a void in his family’s life, but they will carry his memory with them throughout the years. Dawson is survived by his mother, Donnalisa Bostic of Hugo; father, Roy Lee Hall and wife of Hugo; brothers: Kamden Bostic, Roynell Hall, Royvonne Patton, Deandre Swain, Donte Hall; sisters: Sabrina Turner and Selena Turner; a grandmother; five aunts; along with two nieces.

Interment followed the service at Speer Cemetery with Minister Carol Hicks officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
