David Wickson

Funeral services for David Wickson, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. March 1, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. David passed away Feb. 25, 2021, at the age of 45.

David Dewayne Wickson III was born on June 13, 1975 in Talihina, Okla., to David “Dave” Wickson, Jr. and Shirley Noah Wickson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Veanna Wickson.

David was a lifelong resident of Hugo and a graduate of Hugo High School, class of 1994. He married Sharon Chancellor on July 19, 1997 at the old Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hugo. David loved sports, he spent many hours watching football, baseball, basketball and softball. He especially loved playing Playstation games. David also enjoyed sitting at WalMart and riding around town with his wife. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. David is survived by his wife of 23

David is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sharon; son, Tyler Wickson and wife of Hugo; sisters: Jackie Smith of Hugo, Sharon Deal of Hugo, Rhonda Wickson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rachel Battiest of Hugo, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Bro. Luther Battiest officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
